there is this audio technique soundhole mic available at FQMS and musician's friend.

its a guitar mic, but I figure anything with a soundhole.
    has anyone tried it?

clip is fixed thickness of flattop guitar is andicipated, not much else.
archive of site may have a custom mount for these type of mini mics, as is you will ,most likely, not find the clip useful.

I deal in pro audio everyday and I have not yet seen the AT mic you are posting about but I can say that the Countryman and Crown mini mics all have a clip that is alligator type (don't say yes to the next passed around thing!) and you should not have a problem. If you do, PM me and I will hook you up with the correct fixture.
    If F-model mandolins have F-holes then why don't A-model mandolins have A-holes???

I am having a little difficulty finding a decent pic and good info on this countryman and the crown.

can someone send me a link?

I am looking for an alligator clamp mini mic.
