    My son, Jake Gathright has been with Mark Philips and IIIrd Generation for About 4 months now, and While playing at silver dollar city recently, he was lucky enough to play Mr. Frank Ray's "Don Brown" '24 Loar. Check out the video.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXBPsbQMmak

    That was some great pickin' by Jake! Thanks for sharing that. Hey John ...got any new mandolins built? Thanks for letting me pick on some of them at Turkey Track this year. (Folks this guy can build em! ) When I get the funds (still saving up)...I haven't given up on one of yours. Do you still have that hybrid F4 & 1/2?

    Remember the birdseye maple F5. That one was nice too. I was there when John sold that one ... over by the stage.
