    Default Wintergrass anyone?

I've just heard about an amazing festival in Tacoma, Washington, called Wintergrass.

Anybody here lucky enough to be able to go? Sadly, I'm on the other side of the world.

Is it a place you can just go and jam, or is it "booked acts" only? It sounds like the perfect place for me to go and play (if pigs could fly)

    Hey Jack,

There's a thread already here on the part of Cafe about Wintergrass and to answer all of your questions the answer is "yes". Yes there are big name acts such as The SteelDrivers this year. Yes there is tons of jamming in about every conceivable location. Yes there are vendors selling all sorts of goodies like mandolins and CD's. And yes, there's quite a few of us Cafe'ers there as well.
