Anything by Tim O'Brien is worth having, his solo work & more especially (for me) his outstanding work as a member of Hot Rize. Just have a look at the "County Sales" record store site for a listing of all the CD's he's associated with,
Saska
Weber F-5 'Fern'.
Lebeda F-5 "Special".
Stelling Bellflower BANJO
Tokai - 'Tele-alike'.
Ellis DeLuxe "A" style.
I'm a big fan of his appearance on Art Stamper's last recording "Wake Up Darling Corey." It's not full of his mandolin work but his singing on some of these (often obscure) tunes is marvellous.
