I had the pleasure of hearing the Delancey-Thomas Band featuring Scott Tichenor on Saturday night and can highly recommend the group. Dan Delancey plays excellent Watsonish flatpick guitar, Linda Thomas plays virtuoso hammer dulcimer, and they both sing well.

They are all quite skilled musicians, but I thought Scott's playing was especially effective--great tone and inventive lines and backup playing all through the performance. They have a quite relaxed (one could say not overly rehearsed) and warm rapport with the audience also.

They will be playing this week at a festival in Texas--see the recent thread at http://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=48677 for the information.

Great work, Scott.
