    Anyone planning to go?

I'm looking for an old-time jam.

Sounds like fun, but I won't be in Texas then..

Here's a link to the website

If anyone goes, lets hear about it!

For those who haven't gotten into the 'social groups' that have recently been started, check them out.... The list of groups is growing; I started one for TEXAS....

Yep! I drive down to Texas, usually about 4 times a year, usually staying about 3 weeks each visit. With a home & property, and most of my family in Texas, the 3 weeks USUALLY screams by, and I don't get enough done when I'm there!

I can't guarantee it, but I'd sure like to go. Fayetteville seems like the perfect small Texas town based on my little bit of experience there. I also really like the idea that there's a place for Houstonians, Austonibles, and San Antonionios can all get to pick together regularly.

I'm going to try to make this one. I went two months ago, the weekend it was cold and rainy, but still had a good time. There's a hall like building that the jam was held in due to the weather. I attended the slow jam and felt comfortable as a beginner. A heads up for beginners that may go. On their web site they have a link to a song book they play from. It was helpful to print it and bring it with you.

I plan on going. Will bring mandolin and perhaps my accordion as well. This jam has been growing and is pulling people from hundreds of miles around. Come and share the joy.

I enjoyed it. I made the tail end of the slow jam and will hopefully show up again from time to time.
