    Default Show Us Your Duet

Hope this starts a good thread. Here I am (on the right, playing a Brian Dean flattop) with my friend, Craig. One take, full of clams, tempo changes, and goofy looks. Barlow Knife, key of D.

We'll try for a better version as soon as we get over the shock of this one...

...Jeez, Craig, I guess we should have set the bar even lower! Doesn't ANYone else play duets?

now that we have two mandolins my wife and I are thinking about doing one (she usually plays the fiddle) but it may take us a while to work something up. I'll take this as inspiration -sounds good

This is me playing a duet with my wife. WARNING: No mandolin content!

We often play as duet with me on mandolin, guitar or banjo, and my wife on bass, guitar or banjo. That's the only tune we do in this particular fashion. You can see at the end, I'm headed off to get a mandolin, and my wife will be picking up her bass.

Very nice! I love that tune, I usually play it on my Octave mandolin or my cittern.

My videoing is done all alone! I live out in the boonies, and all my playing friends are city folk... I have to go to them!

    Keep em coming, though!
