Dude, you're killing me...I'm like the lady in Napoleon Dynamite at the tupperware party, who, upon Uncle Rico's presenting of the limited time free gift (ship in a bottle), says under her breath the her husband, "I waaaaaannnnt that."

No returns or approval, though -- always worries me a bit when buying on-line.

The case isn't from the same era, the bridge stood out pretty much right away but beyond that, if you get past the approval thing it looks decent.

I've always had a soft-spot for Stradolins, and this one looks very nice. However, the over-the-top hype in auction text is rather off-putting (but moreso regarding the seller than the mandolin).

Fascinating. Earlier or later than the familiar late-30s Strads? Has the squared fingerboard, the shorter neck, and the "dot" f-holes that seem to go together, a brighter sunburst than the classic Strads, and a completely different logo, written StradOLin instead of Strad-O-Lin. And seems to have plastic binding (which we haven't seen on an early Strad). In any case it's a cheap model-- oh yeah, they're all cheap models. If anyone has the ability to capture some of these photos for the Strad Social Group gallery, much appreciated. Or better yet, why doesn't someone just buy it?
