    Here is quite intersting website, where some guy is trying to construct arabic lute.. it looks pretty nice!

    That is terrific. I love his bending jig. When I get around to bending the sides I may just try to make that as I think I have all of those parts lying around.

    Great site.

    btw, buckley. where does one get a 3" tube of aluminum with a 3/16th wall??

    if you can answer that the bending iron is something I may try also.


    not pickin'on ya. but you said you had all that stuff "lying around" so just curious.

    If the shop near you is anything like my Dad's shop, there is plenty lying around. Good luck with that. If I get around to assembling this contraption in the near future I will keep you posted on how it works.
