Playing more acoustic these days.
Main acoustic Takamine G series cedar top
Main Electrics JT 137 (ES175 copy) & Charvel strat copy

I'm a classical guitarist and have owned Ramirez & Alvarez Yairi classical guitars.
The only time I like to play steel string is for Simon & Garfunkel. Paul Simon was an excellent Travis picker, but rarely plays in the old style anymore. I believe that he has had problems with his fingers the last 30 years or so.
I never like to play electric.
Acoustic; I have no electric instruments, other than an Ashbory bass.
My "main" guitar right now is a 1940 Martin 00-28G classical that's been re-topped and re-necked to make it a 00-42. I am wearing it out, really. Before that I played a Taylor XX-MC 20th anniversary model; before that a 1970 Martin D-41.

Acoustic. I have a D-18 Martin, it's my pride and joy!
It's a D-18GE circa 2004; about to take possession of a Mann-SEM 5,if that
fails to satisfy the craving it will be another Fender Strat.

Acoustic.
Main, one and only, guitar is a Larrivee L-03R.

Didn't we do this one? Oh, well...
My wife has a '65 D35 Rio, a '37 black Gibson, and the 0-45 I built for her
I play a JBrentrup (what else?) Rio 12 string based on a Larson body (what else?)
My main acoustic steel string is an Ibanez SGT 110, which is similar to Gibson L-1; even though it isn't a solid top, still sounds great. For classical guitar playing I use a Rodriguez C model, which is made in Spain. (a good student model) My electric guitar varies from a Gibson Custom Les Paul, B.C. Rich Bitch, Dean ML, and a Guild Citron X-92 model. (All of my electrics are over 20years old, from my days of heavy metal guitar playing. )
I play a Martin HD28 2003 on stage in bluegrass/ Fender tele 62 reissue and Beard reso/ Fender JP bass in a country band and Collins CW at home or at church/ assistd living.
I much prefer acoustic and play a Martin D 28 from the early '70's.
My main guitar is my 6-string Stanford PSD10 with solid mahogany b&s that is the best Martin D-18 look-a-like guitar out there for its astounding tone. My second guitar is a Walden D552 12-string that is a delight to play and listen to, and my most recent acquisition....an early Christmas present actually!
My mandolin is my Mid-Missouri M1 which is a joy to play.
Jeff
Acoustic. Right now my main (only) guitar is a Bourgeois JOM Cedar that I bought used from Liam Clancy's son, Donal Clancy who is a Bourgeois endorser. It has some serious Celtic mojo going on. Very smooth powerful guitar. Flat pick or finger style. I recently sold a Greven 000 and converted it into a Gibson A model mandolin.

Acoustic; Collings OM2H
Acoustic: I'm playing a Martin OM-21 that is comfortable for a sit around player. I also have a Gibson Southern Jumbo for those dreadnought needs.
For electric I prefer my Reverend Flatroc - it is colored like Gretch(sp?) orange with filter-tron style pickups.
Old Hometown, Cabin Fever String Band
Mostly acoustic: "1942 Bluegrass D" made by Santa Cruz Guitar Company in 2001 is my main axe
When I go electric: 2007 Eric Johnson signature model Fender Stratocaster
Oddly, I play more electric mandolin than I do electric guitar!
Daniel
Acoustic
Martin 2000 D16RGT when I'm flatpicking. Cheap 1998 washburn dread for fingerpicking. Someday I'll get a better fingerpicking guitar, but that Martin is about all I'm ever gonna need for boom-chucking and flatpicking.
Acoustic....Classical....1997 Martin-Humphrey. Has the elevated fingerboard and lattice bracing. Nice sounding and easy to play.
1919 Gibson A3
1920 Gibson A2
1937 Gibson K1 Mandocello
2015 Eastman Bowlback
Prefer acoustic, but tend to play more electric...lead guitar player in a worship band. I have a 2004 Taylor 414ce-L7 and a 2006 Taylor 410-E-LTD that are the go to acoustic guitars. For the electricafried variety, I have a 1978 Telecaster Thinline, and a 2006 Fender John Mayer Stratocaster.

Acoustic-Taylor 814 and 312, Alvarez 5022 early 80s
Mostly fingerpick, Mandolin playing has helped on the higher end. I like closer frets now. I also have an electric Aria pro 2, 80 something model I think.
I just dont have much desire to play it.
I just purchased a Guild CV1. A lovely little Grand Orchestra, Indian Rosewood and Spruce guitar with volume, tone, projection, note separation....what other adjectives can I come up with.....It's a cannon.
Also have a '74 Guild D 35 and a '91 Martin Shenandoah D1932. Love 'em all, love playing the guitar.
The only electric guitar I have is an Ibanez Artstar from about 2004. It's a great archtop with awesome tone and playability and absolutely zero resale value.
I also collect Guns and Dogs!
In my early days i played electric guitars exclusively. The only acoustics I played was a friends. I didn't own one. But now i play mainly acoustics just because I'm to lazy to drag the heavy amp out any more. I have been really putting all my effort into the mando now. I had one that i had hanging on the wall for at least 15 years or so before i ever gave it a serious try. Now thats all i want to do...Mike

Started off playing at square dances, Bluegrass jams, blown away by Hendrix in '69 (time off for the war), redisscovered acoustic thx to the Flying Burrito Bros, Byrds, Eagles etc. Back to Bluegrass for 10 yrs Rediscovered electric, thx to arthritis in my hands, Pearl Jam and Collective Soul, bored with all that, and returned to bluegrass this time on the mandolin.
