Default M'Cello Passed to a New Generation

Our son housesat for us this past weekend. Since he has played bass and guitar for years, he enjoys dabbling on the mandocello when he is here for a while. This time, he left us evidence that I have a ton of catching up to do.

He started on electric bass --- which he still plays --- and then picked up electric guitar, playing acoustics from time to time. He passed me by when he was about 15. Since he likes lower instruments, I've always been safe with the mandolin. Once I got into mandocello, though, I knew it was only a matter of time.

My son passed me by on guitar many years ago and now he's taking an interest in the mandolin. I can hardly wait for the grandkids to show me up.
