    Default Tone-Gard

My buddy and I played a special at church a few weeks ago – he sings & plays a beautifully seasoned Gibson J-45. The only amplification in use was his mic for vocals, but it was also capturing his guitar and nearly drowning out my Eastman 615.

That experience sealed the deal for me – I either need to play seated, mic’ed, or find a way to replicate the seated volume & tone while standing.

Well after much research I finally sprung for a Tone-Gard. I ordered it directly from Tony Pires (http://www.tone-gard.com/), and would heartily recommend the product and the customer experience to anybody. Tony’s commitment to excellence was evident in every facet of our transaction.

As to the Gard, one word can sum it up – WOW! It may be subjective, but I believe my mando is actually louder standing (Gard in place) than seated without it.

Just as we in this community expose lackluster service and shoddy products (and rightly so), I thought someone who does business right should get a public thumbs up.

    Thanks again Tony!
