TKL-8952 Oblong Case vs. Silver Creek Vintage case

I am looking for an oblong case for my vintage weber F model. Any one have experience with these cases, the Silver Creek Vintage F-Style Mandolin Case or the TKL-8952? I have been told that Weber will fit into the TKL. Does anyone know anything about the Silver Creek? Like who makes it, will a Weber fit etc?

I've had my Weber Fern in a TKL case & it fits fine.The TKL's seem to be a 'one size fits all' style,it'll even take my 'larger that usual' Lebeda.I don't know re.the Silver Creek cases though,but they do seem to be a super case.
Purely on the gounds of 'lightness',i've recently bought a Travelite case,which is as light as they come,i also found that the 'bits & pieces' compartment will hold more than both my TKL & my Eastman Rectangular cases. It doesn't look big but it's DEEP !.
As a note - my Weber in a Weber rect.case weighs in at 15.6 lbs & my Lebeda in a TKL case weighs in at 13.6 lbs. The Travelite with my Lebeda in,won't even register on my bathroom scales,it's that light,

It looks to me like the Silver creek is made by guardian. The model number CG-046-MF is the same as guardian's.
Also, the CG-046-MF is not listed on the guardian website. Hmmmmm.
But they appear to be identical.

Thanks, a friend has a very slightly used TKL at a great price. The Travelite are ok but I do some hard traveling and want more protection. My experience with Guardian cases is that they don't hold up as well or as long as some of the others.
