    Default New Stringdusters album

I just got done listening to the new album and I must say I really like it. They seemed to have tweaked their sound a little from the last album, at least production wise. To me it sounds like their strongest album yet. You can stream the whole album at:

I can't wait to pick up the disc and see them here in Wilmington May 18th!

Good stuff there. On first listen I like it better than the last one.

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I hope Travis writes plenty more tunes. He's got a gift.

Big Stringdusters fan here, but I don't know if I care for all the heavy reverb (?) on the vocals on this newest offering.

Just listened to it last night, great album!! It is true, it has quite a bid of production, but I love it! The U2 cover of In God's Country is awesome. Another strong effort from the Dusters.

Great material and great production values. When I interviewed Jesse Cobb for Mandolin Magazine, he insisted that I not call the Dusters a bluegrass band. This album shows why.

Not trying to flame here, but what did he want you call their music? When I interviewed Travis Book he gave me a pretty long winded answer, but it was like if you like it (the music) then it's good. I know a few people call them "jamgrass" and I don't like that term nor do I agree with it when it comes to the 'Dusters. I think of them more as Pop-Grass.
