There is a hot springs, can't remember where exactly, where they have acoustic music. If I remember correctly, it's near the headwaters of the Missouri river. Near Ennis?

This thread is turning into "proof positive that all the good band names are already taken".
As an update, I emailed the local music writer, and gave him a little description of the band, without mentioning the "jazzy bluegrass" thing. Later, the woman that does the booking at the winery called me about future dates. She apologized for the bluegrass reference, and I told her not to worry, it happens all the time. I think the guitar player gave her a hard time about it. He doesn't want to be associated with bluegrass or country at all. Anyway, I think everybody's happy AND informed now.
Lee- There are quite a few hot springs around here that have acoustic music. It's one of the reasons to live here.

Years ago I played in a rock/blues band and we had a pretty interesting name, it was "Stiff Pickle" We always got lots of folks coming to see us just for the name. We had a a young couple that wanted us to play at there wedding. The bride to be was all for it, but the groom didnt seem to like the idea. I guess he didnt was his wife to be around 4 guys from a band with a name like ours. We where in the running for band name of the year but where beat by "Yoko Onos Bottom". I had to leave off the other word for bottom but I am sure you will get the idea.
