Gibson F4 on eBay - possible scam?

Hi - just spotted this on eBay:

The seller seems to have multiple listings for the same mandolin - all with the same pictures (as far as I can tell after comparing the listings), same BIN prices etc. The seller also has 8 1924 Snakehead Model A for sale, all with Black Top.

So what's the angle here? I'm not that experienced with the various antics on eBay so I'm hesitant to call it a scam outright. But I'm scratching my head here for sure over all these seemingly identical listings.

Any seller who wants you to buy direct from them without bidding and going through Ebay is a scam - RUN AWAY!
The EBAY account he is hacking - the poor guy doesn't even know he's selling mandos - seems to deal in Gaming Consoles and accessories

The seller does mention that the transaction is to be made through eBay. However, one wonders why there is not a BIN option if that's what he insists. Perhaps trying to not pay the final transaction fees? Either way, the seller seems to be doing everything he can to get you to deal with him directly. Definitely makes one wonders.

It's a SCAM. If you send him money you will never see anything in return.

Oh stay away from this one ....it's the same type and format that the scam artists use.......and never deal outside of Ebay...

Thanks for everyone's feedback. I definitely have no intention of dealing with this seller and had in fact reported him to eBay.

Scam, scam, scam. No questions, no doubts, no ifs, ands, or buts ... we eBay graybeards have seen this many times before. Don't waste another minute on it.
