    Default Don Stiernberg

    I had the pleasure of taking several great workshops from Don this past weekend at the River of the West mandolin camp near Portland, Oregon which was a great experience and got to hear Don tear it up playing jazz and bluegrass. I asked him at one point if he ever played in Seattle and I don't think he ever has, but he will be in the area soon as he will be at Wintergrass in Feb 2011 with his trio! Good news for the PNW and anyone who comes to Wintergrass!

    Oh yeah -- I have several. My favorite however is his latest, which I bought at the mando camp. "Swing 220". Instant classic in my book...
