    Default New Vessel A

    I wrote about getting to "foster parent" this mandolin herehttp://www.mandolincafe.com/forum/sh...-Mandolin-Day!, and promised to post pictures. So here they are.

    Gary calls this an A-E (E for economy)
    Mahogany neck, headstock overlay, back & rims. Great figure (sorry about the glare).

    A beautiful looking & no doubt,sounding Mandolin. I love the Mahogany back & neck,beautifully tasteful use of one of the most under-rated woods (IMO) for Mandolins,
