Yeah, that's cool! Tell us about it. Would you call that an "H-style?"
This is an octave mandolin built in December 1931 by maker in Chicago by the name of Achilio (or Achilo) Puccinelli. I have a guitar by the same maker and have seen a very nice-looking (tho not quite as outlandish) mandolin by the same maker in a private collection.
This one played for some time but for now needs some TLC to fix a crack near to the endpin.
I thought it quite nice for the occasion.
