Which would you get, a Cedar or a Mahogany Jenny? Thanks.

I haven't owned a Bushman, but I have owned Pono mahogany and cedar tenors. The mahogany was a little more mellow, and cedar a little brighter, but strings can make a difference. I prefer mahogany, but either one sounds great.

I've got a Bushman Jenny Baritone (Mahogany) and love it. Tuned GDAE octave mando style.

Mando.player, PLEASE ! I also want to buy a baritone uke and tune it GDAE, but I don't know what strings to buy for that !
Can you tell me which gauge you use for the octave mando tuning ? Thanks from a fellow (immigrant) Michigan member living in Troy.

Thanks for all the advice. I purchased a Mainland tenor ukulele with the matte finish and the gold MOP tuners. I can't wait for delivery!
