Parts source?

Stew-Mac is where I've bought most of my guitar parts but they don't have a mandolin armrest in the online catalog. I'm wondering about getting one--I often play outside and I'm concerned that summer sweat will hurt my new mando's finish (nitrocellulose--is that easy to damage?) A quick search didn't turn up any discussion on the Mandolin Cafe about this--should I not be worrying about it at all? And what are other good sources for mandolin parts? Thanks!

You might want to do a better search, in the equipment discussions. I think I saw a siren offered for $28 at elderly(or somewhere).

Ken, check at First Quality. They should have some Siren arm rests in stock. I have them on both of my mandos and they are great. Keeps the wear off the upper bout and actually should help sound get out since your arm is off the top plate.

Steve Smith also makes a very nice armrest. They aren't on his website but his number is there to call about price.
