Just wondering if anyone else can give more information on this model. I have looked around the net and seem to only find the 513 in a different body style than the one here. What would be a fair resale price? Thanks

I looked at the unofficial Ibanez mandolin website: http://ibanezmandolin.com/, where they say they don't cover the 513 and its related models because they are of a lower quality.
There must be somewhere else that does cover those models, and you're at the right place to find out.

maybe like $300.00. Be mindful of structural integrity as I've seen these with bellys and other stress-related problems. Not too sure of how solid they're built. Timid voice also.

Most all of the 70's Mandolins can be found here
Most were solid carved Spruce Topped

I've had one of the same model for several years. Mine came with a D'Armond add-on pickup attached, with the volume knob attached to the pickguard (which is missing on the one you've got). I like the offbeat body design--with it's Maccaferri-like sound hole. It's no banjo killer, but it makes a good electric-acoustic jazz mando.
Mine is quite solid and seems nicely built. The back has a little flame, and the top has a gentle arch, though i'm not sure if it's carved or pressed. Sounds more like a flat-top. The hardware's a little cheap. I put a Michael Kelly tailpiece on it, because the shape just happens to mirror the curve on the fretboard extension.
I looked around and never found anything much about the history of this model.
