Default Two (!) pre-war F-7s in the classifieds

There's something you don't see every day.

Somewhere there's a prop shop (at Gibson?) making the mandolins for Peter Sarsgaard to use in the coming Monroe movie. I hope they make or provide a short-necked F-7 for the brother duet scenes.

Aren't all F-7's "pre-war" by definition? I think they were discontinued in 1940.

Sure surprised me too. Long odds of that happening. Quite a range in prices.

That particular war started in 1939.

    But we didn't get in 'til '41...so a 1940 wouldn't be "pre-war"? Definitely not "post-war"; guess it's just "war"!
