The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well

A "must have" for any choro enthusiast. I bought mine online from Luso-Brazlian Books
You can also get them at Caravanmusic.com.
They are very much a "fake book" format--melodies, chords. Lots of fun!!
If you look here you'll find a bunch of files, some in midi format, and most in Encore (there is also a link to a free version of Encore somewhere...) which has charts and notation for a LOT of choro. You search by title or artist- don't get put off by the Portuguese, the search categories are easy.
Don't forget that Mandolin Quarterly had two different columns devoted to choro music.
The latest issue has lots of music and explanation.

Check out the Michael Lampert Schwab Mandolin
I wouldn't recommend Cadernos de Choro Vol. 1 and Vol. 2.
They are not standard Choro repertoire, but original tunes in the style.
Mike Marshall started a Choro/Brazil label. I did see books also at the symposium that were in notation. Mike Marshall Adventure Music
Marilyn Mair's website www.marilynmair.com has a few choro charts and a lot of choro info and resources. Go to the "information - articles and sheet music" section.

The Jacob do Bandolim site has a few, but they're virtuosistic. Check them out, though...
I have a book that i use; i suspect most people in Brazil learn choros by ear, from recordings. Is there any specific piece you're looking for?
Altamiro Carrilho (flute player) has some sheet music in his site too. Also, in his virtual store, Chorinhos Didaticos is recorded acompaniment for choros graded by difficulty, and sheet music. You may need help buying this (let me know if you're interested, send me a PM).
