    Hi-

I've been doing a little more listening of the early Dawg/Tony Rice new acoustic cds and wanted to work out some of these songs. Two I am very fond of are Dawg's Bull and Neon Tetra. I was wondering if anyone has tab on these tunes. The chords to Dawg's Bull I've already figured out. Nothing too difficult to decipher - I think it's #mostly I IV Vs - but the head is a little harder to get. Neon Tetra I've had less success with. Alan Bibey did a version of Dawg's Bull at Steve Kaufman's camp this past summer which was smoking.

    Thanks,
    Sam

Dawg's Bull is a way up da neck melody. I think I got it out of an old MWN.

The opening melody to Dawg's Bull is described really well in this book http://www.homespuntapes.com/prodpg....odType=
This includes all the harmonies (it's actually a 3 part harmony played by 3 mandolins).

I can't seem to find a reference for Neon Tetra. But something in the back of my mind says I've seen it somewhere. If it turns up I'll let you know.

I've always been interested in that homespun book. Art, do you know what MWN has Dawg's Bull?

Yeah, I think ol' SternArt done got his tang all toungled up

MWN did the following Dawg tunes - from memory - Mandolin King Rag, Opus 57, Waiting on Vassar, Janice. Also did Dysentary Stomp, Ride the Wild Turkey from Darol Anger.

Dawg's Bull was indeed noted out in the Dawg book from Homespun.

I've contemplated a purchase. Does the book include standard
    notation?

    Thanks Phil-
I am going to get the homespun for the Dawg's Bull. I love that tune. Maybe I can find some other Philly-based mando players to play it with me....

    Hello Guys,

I've been looking for it the whole week-end but cannot find it. Since I've moved recently, it might be somewhere in the garage. If I put my hands on it, I'll send it immediatly. Sorry about that
