For those of you that don't have a Facebook account please note that you'll need one to view the images.

Moving this to the bluegrass section where it should have been posted. Sure be nice if these were made public for the world to see instead of restricting them to Facebook members.

    Docham-

Would you consider posting them in the Bluegrass section so we all can enjoy them? Some of us have an aversion to Facebook ...

Incredible photos... thank you for sharing. I signed on to my rarely used Facebook account, and it was worth it (for once).

Tell the truth, you´re working for "facebook" and you try to lure us in with the promise of Bill Monroe pictures...

Since there are several people opposed to facebook, is there a way to have access to the pictures without being a facebook member?

Facebook albums have a link (only visible to the album's owner) at the bottom of the page that says "Share this album with anyone by sending them this public link:" followed by the public URL. So it should be possible to see these photos even without a FB account, so long as we're given that URL (at least, this is how things work for my FB photo albums).

It sure brought back memories of the Big Mon for me. I remember those '68 - '74 era quite well. That would be Monroe's 1964 F5 with the block inlays. He bought this mandolin before he got his 2nd Loar and used it mostly for "Get Up John" and other off tunings. It appears he used it the whole show here so maybe his July 9th Loar was out for minor repairs and he resorted to his spare. This would also be the mandolin he used to record "My Last Days On Earth".

Thanks so much for letting us see them. He must have trusted you to let you take those interior shots. Funny how he seems so less imposing without his hat.
