Thread: Good setup shops in NC/VA?

Default Good setup shops in NC/VA?

I have the names of a couple of shops that do a good job of setting up a mandolin for bluegrass in my area but am interested in other recommendations. I live near Greensboro, NC and would be willing to drive 100 miles or so. Thanks.

John Hamlett (aka "Sunburst") just about 100 miles north on US #29.

VAPicker, I am in Thomasville, NC. I am only 20 minutes from Greensboro. I would be glad to help you out if I can.

Skip is the man, he did a really nice refret and setup for me.

Same here. Good job; fair price.

Skip just did some set up for me last week. Hard to beat in this area.

No experience here with Skip, but I'll re-up Sunburst, FWIW...
