    Default Kay on the bay

I just won this puppy; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...EOIBSA:US:1123
I think I did ok but don't have experience with Kay mandos, I do have a cool old Kay guitar that I really like so I figured this would be pretty safe.

Congrats! I've always loved that "Kelvinator" headstock.

Congratulations PJ. I had an old Kay for a while. They're lots of fun and some sound surprisingly good.

Thanks guys, there's something about playing a cheapie I dig. I played my Kay guitar at work for a while today and was blowing the guys away with my $79 axe, like they say it's the player not the instrument so having a reminder around helps keeps things in perspective. Guess I'm gonna have to restring it though

Congrats . I had one that was almost exactly the same, except that it had a darker 'burst than yours. I put jazzmando flatwound strings on it and really liked the way it sounded and played. It's one that I wish I had kept around for traveling and such. I think you'll like it.
