Default Program/Exercises in Hearing Chords !

In reading music and tabs I can play chords along with the melody. In listening to someone else playing I can hear the chord changes. However, I cannot ( by listening) identify that this chord is a G,D, C, etc! Is there a program (computer) that will help someone learn to recognize what chord is being played? I have friends who can ( by listening) say that this is a certain chord being played and I suppose players who are experienced can do this!

    Yankees,

    Try these:

The original Basic Function Ear Trainer.
The original Advanced Functional Ear Trainer.
The new Functional Ear Trainer v2.

I can't recognise the chord changes yet, but I'm working on it.

    Good Luck
    John

    Social Groups: FFcP, A Song-a-Week
ABC. Notation for the tabophobic: ABC intro, ABCexplorer, Making Music with ABC Plus by Guido Gonzato.
FFcP: Just do it! (Any genre, (Honest!) just ignore the jazz references.)
