Default Going To Germany - Solo Mandolin

While I'm working on an actual album, I decided to pay tribute to some old influences, in this case Cannon's Jug Stompers.

Nice work. Here's an arrangement of the song we've been doing in Ramblin jug Stompers for a few years.

Nice work both of you. Scott, enjoyed that and great singing btw!
Michael - lovely lazy jug band feel!

    Thanks,

    Marc

Cool takes on this one. I've always loved this song. Recently introduced it to a cello player I've started working with. This is the 1st time through so it's raggedy as heck but I like the basics of it.

Michael, I didn't need to see that. I've been fighting MAS and that oval hole is not helping at all. Sounds great.

Oh, that old baby's wonderful. It's a '21, with the aluminum-topped bridge, which gives it a little pingy brightness. If you want to get wicked jug bandy, try a National!

    Nicely done!
It's a jug band tune, so it's supposed to be a bit raggedy! Many of the various jug band members regularly played gigs and recording dates when a little drunk. It wouldn't be jug band music without that "messing around on the front porch" feel.
