    I've been a huge Hiatt fan for quite some time, but a more recent convert to mandolin playing. I have enjoyed David Immergluck's playing on Hiatt's _Walk On_ and _Crossing Muddy Waters_ albums. I was wondering whether anyone has tabbed out any of the mandolin work on some of the songs? I can play with the basic chords, but I am at a loss to pick up some of the finer details. Thanks

    yea, john hiatt is insane. i only have his anthology and its awesome. for cry love its just a simple C-->G-->Am-->F pattern. hold C on G most of the time. i havent bothered to figure out the solo...thats not really my best area of expertise.

    C=523x
    G=5023
    Am=223x
    F=233x

    Huh. Those chords don't sound right, and they certainly don't sound like what I hear on the CD "Walk On".

    Same chord progression, but I play it this way:

    C: 5578
    G: 4557
    Am: 2335
    F: 2235

    Pretty easy to change between those chords quickly, I've found.

    I'm going to try to work out as much of the solos as I can, but I have trouble playing those fast double stops.
