    Update: After 3 1/2 hours of gradual acclimation I am now playing the new beauty. For peace of mind it was well worth the wait, and the beautiful nitro finish is undisturbed. Will post pictures soon in another thread. Thanks to all for your words of wisdom, support and humor!

    Congratulations! Good choice to let it wait a while...difficult, but the right thing to do. I've fortunately never had any major shipping or temperature issues, but living in NC/SC helps that out a bit, except maybe in June-September, when it's a bit on the warm side...my general policy is to let it sit until I get home from work (the fed ex and ups guys usually get here early afternoon), and then have at it...
