"Soul-Full Roots & Blues"
If you dig new roots music, check me out!
Hey, y'all!
I'm trying to get some folks listening to me, I'd appreciate your ear for a minute: I'm a new roots & blues act in chicago; I play the octave mandolin, y'all might dig it:

poor excuse for anything

Nice start! Nice use of the octave vs. a regular guitar. I think some of your songs really need to be fleshed out with more instruments to really get some lift to them, but there's lots here that's good. Keep it up!

Sounds good Greg! I also do similar stuff with OM and mandocello; I really like the sound and it's a little different from the standard guy with a guitar gig. Contact Bill Frater at Freight train Boogie podcast. He features roots and Americana. Also contact Von at Americana Rock mix. He does a very similar show. These guys are always asking for info on new artists.
