Pretty ambitious price, at least twice as high as recent listings for Style O guitars in the States.

I have a very soft spot for these. I think they look great, judging from the Tone Poems recording (Vol. I Track 2) they sound very nice, they look different and they are so Big Bill.
The price of 15.500,- EUR is way over the top. Look at the one at Gruhns here: http://www.gruhn.com/
"AR4223 Gibson Style O Artist 1914 VG+++, repaired heel crack (typical crack on this model), no pickguard, set up with early 1920s Gibson tailpiece and 1921-patent Gibson adjustable bridge, HC $6,000.00"
Given the heel crack Iīd say that this kind of guitar in excellent condition would bring about 10.000,- USD/7.600,- EUR.

They have a nice barbaric honk
Thanks for your replies.
I suspected it was not realistically priced

Price is way high, but this guitar is a beauty

You need Big Bill's hands to play those things. Baseball bat necks IIRC. BTW tho Broonzy was pictured with one I read somewhere that he never really played one but it was more of a photo studio prop and may not have even belonged to him.

Broonzy's main axe was a Martin 000-28 IIRC.
We have several other Style O threads.
Mass Street Music had a pristine one for $7800 or thereabouts a while back ... and now has a needs-work one for $3500. I think $10K would still be a little high.

Roy Clark would drag one of those out from time to time when he did his solo number on Hee Haw.
