The RSS Feed seems to be pulling the entire list of ads for each entry, instead of the individual ad associated with the heading of each entry.

See if it's working now. You'll need to be viewing newly added items. Guessing you're not looking directly at the feed (http://www.mandolincafe.com/classifieds.xml) but through a reader or portal.

Scott; thanks again for the upgrade to the layout of the Classifieds. Ads really look great now (frankly, too great for our own good! ).

I've discovered something about the "link" section of the classifieds' ad creation page. This section will not accept a link to a Picasa picture album because of the compound extension used by Picasa (picasaweb.google.com).

This certainly isn't a big deal, as one can easily enter the link into the body of the ad, but just in case this is a very easy and quick thing to fix, I thought I'd mention it.

Once again, great upgrade!

Ed, does that address use https instead of http? That'd likely be the reason, not the address you listed. I tested the address you provided and there's no problem with that, nor is there anything coded that would prevent that. Also, you always need the http:// in front of the address.

You are exactly correct. I had entered the url with the https: prefix.
I changed to http: and it worked like a charm.

The Mandolin Cafe's Classifieds are undergoing some minor but important changes to improve the experience.

The Classifieds Searches feature does not seem to be working correctly for me. The first time I enter a search (for example, for "F4"), I get a whole lot of unrelated hits. If I then search again for the same term using the window from the first results, I get the hits that I would have expected the first time. I've tried several different search terms with the same results. I suspect that the first result is returning all the listings, not the matching listings.

Is this happening to anyone else?
