    Question Kentucky 675 - $370

I have been lurking on this site a lot and wanted to start posting since I finally got a "respectable" mandolin... at least I think I have.

I found this Kentucky 675 for $370. In the pictures, the condition looks good and the action seems pretty nice. Then again, I'm coming off of playing a MSO (Mandolin Shaped Object)... a Johnson. I wanted to get the expert opinions for some of you guys. Was it a decent buy? Anything I should be looking for when I receive the unit?

If it is in good condition, I would say that is a good buy.

Sounds like a good buy... but a mando at is best its only as good as its parts.... If you have trouble playing suspect the nut... it is frequently poorly adjusted or not adjusted at all after the factory. But you know that from playing with your Johnson.

The nut and the bridge are the two simplest adjustments... the fretboard will let you know with buzzing.
