Default Kentucky 150 to Alvarez F3...upgrade?

So I just bought an Alvarez F3 off the classifieds here that needs a little bit of work.

I'm waiting for it to come in the mail.

I bought it as a replacement to my current Kentucky KM-150.

Is it a decent upgrade? Is it an upgrade at all?

    Thanks,

I must admit, it's a little late for advise when you've already purchased it.

I read a lot of good things about it here in the cafe so I figured it would be a decent buy.
If not then I'll just fix it up and sell it.

    We'll see

Price-wise, yes, it's an upgrade. And you have an F-model instead of the A-model Kentucky, which many would consider "better," and which is at least pricier.

Both solid wood, both machine carved, so not a big jump there. How do you like it? After all, that's what's important.
