Anyone know of a place for Bluegrass in the DFW area?
Thanks.

I'd be interested in any old-time or ITM in the Fort Worth area. Sorry if this seems piggyback.

check out the sw bluegrass Club here
Check out the jam at the Belmont Hotel bar any Sunday from 3-6. You'll find more Americana and old time music than bluegrass, but a fine jam, all the same.
There is jamming on the square in Garland every Saturday night from
April thru October. Starts around 7:00pm.

Here is a place in Plano, TX that I go to listen:

Not what I consider "Bluegrass" but on occasion something interesting will pop-up. Also, not sure if there are any jam sessions or open play days, but give them a call.

I'm headed over to Garland tonight to check this out...
Well I'm over here on the square and no one is here, but I was told by person waiting that pickers show up about 8:00. And it's 102 degrees here right now so maybe it's to hot to get a big crowd. I'm hanging anyway. Will let y'all know how it goes.
Ok. This is the place in dfw for sidewalk jam. Lots of players and worth the heat.

Garland, TX on the Square every Saturday night. Several groups playing different music, but the Bluegrass guys are great.
Old time at Dallas Heritage Village 1st and 3rd Sat 2:00. Closed in August
Forgot to tell ya best after sundown for the square.
For those folks that's not use to Texas heat I strongly suggest that you show up about sundown or a few minutes past, say dark-thirty. Also, bring something to drink. There is a small coffee/tea shop across the street that is excellent and fairly inexpensive and good stuff can be bought there. Lots of nice folks and lots of great music.
Hi are there any places in central texas that likes other kind of mando music besides bluegrass like classical ,would love to hookup with an alternative group , i live in Mineral Wells and there is no one here that i have found seems everyone that i hear of in texas is all bluegrass .

I was in Texas in June, and The old time jam at the Dallas Heritage Village was active. Not sure about now, but you can google it. Most of the other jams were taking a break due to COVID.

Try Meetup. I registered yesterday to look for jams in DFW area. Found bluegrass jams in Grapevine and Carrollton. There are Friday night jams in Lewisville.
Garland square still going, weather permitting. Sons of Herman Hall on Thursday night in Deep Ellum is closed for now but hopeful that it will open back up soon when the bars open.
It doesn't matter . . . I'm going to WINFIELD!!!!!
On Meetup you'll see an Accoustical Gospel Jam group. I signed up for a jam in Irving on 3/20.
There is a BG jam at a church in downtown Grapevine (or used to be). I attended once. It was fun. You should be able to find it on Google. I think the location was called "Just Off Main".
