Very Last Day

In 1992 I wrote an arrangement for 4 part choir of the Negro Spiritual 'Very Last Day'. for performance at the Sainsbury's Choir of the Year competition.

Here I re-arranged it for mandolin and guitar orchestra, then added strings, woodwind and timps for extra richness.

Any comments (please be gentle) would be welcomed

with everything removed except for the mandolin orchestra instruments. I added the other strings etc. because I thought some of the notes needed sustaining longer - I suppose I could do that using tremelo. I'm new to mandolin/guitar orchestra stuff so I'll experiment !

IMHO all the other added effects just detract from the mandolin, people on this website like mandolins, they tend to get lost in an orchestra.
