    I remember Paula Abdul referring to the "H" chord on American Idol back in the day, as in "I didn't hear that high H chord in the middle section", but never heard anyone else mention L other than describing a mandolin chord shape.

    Ive heard of a "K" position reference. Best way to describe is to play an arpeggio or pentatonic scale starting with first finger on "E" (2nd fret on d string). go up as high on E string. Kinda gives a "K" shape.
