Thread: Vintage Harmony Electric Mandolin

    Default Vintage Harmony Electric Mandolin

I just found this old Harmony Electric Flatback mandolin in an attic of one of my family members. They want me to sell it for them. I do not know anything about it other than I should clean it up a little. I was wondering if anyone on here can tell me what it is worth. I would appreciate any helpful information <Removed by Moderator, please limit selling to the classifieds>. Thanks for your time,

I attached a few photos for your reivew.

The vintage is 80's to 90's and it was imported, probably from Korea and has nothing to do with the original Harmony brand. It is one of these labeled Harmony. Do a happy dance for anything over $100.00 you get for it and feel bad for the person that buys it. They are not spectacular.

I bought one of those back in 1989 from JC Penney. It came complete with a chipboard case, and the price at the time was $79.00. It is all pressed plywood, but it was a great instrument to learn on.
