    Default Twin Sister mandola with Queen's Polka mandolin

    Here is Twin Sister on Celtic Star mandola played sort of like Doc Watson overlaid with
    Queen's Polka from James Bryan's "Lookout Blues" album on Rigel G110 mandolin

    with help from a Boss loop and a Fishman loudbox mini

    Great idea, great playing! It really sounds good.

    It's funny about tune titles, though. I play a tune called "Twin Sisters" and it is a completely different tune than the one you're doing. Nothing wrong with that, just interesting. "Queen's Polka" has long been a favorite of mine. FYI, Curtis Buckhannon does a great mandolin arrangement of it on the Buckhannon Brothers CD "Little River Stomp."

    I had a lot of fun putting that together

    the Twin Sisters I am playing is from Doc Watson's "Down South" vinyl from late 80's I guess
    Sam Bush is on fiddle and Merle on guitar - I have wandered somewhat from their version.
    A banjo player friend of mine does it it an different key and it is close to the version I play but different enough.
    that's fiddle tunes for ya
