Default One second per fiddler. The quick sketcher strikes again.

Here's a new movie, just over a minute long, showing about 70 fiddlers competing at a couple recent Arizona contests. Each sketch was drawn in two to three minutes and each is presented here for one second. Hope you like it.

Did you sketch Allen Hopkins playing guitar, as well? Cool project!

Gosh, I didn't get the names of everyone, especially the guitarists. Unless they entered the accompanist competition, then I drew them. Do you know if he did? What's he look like?

Here's Marshall Racowsky anyway. He won the Tucson Accompanist division.

Oh, I mentioned Allen since he's a member here on the forum and has an avatar that looks just like those.

Allen's avatar DOES look like something I'd done, but unless I'm mistaken, I didn't done it.

That's a good start. Now we want these drawings to move along with the music, too

Bertram, I quite agree. This one was part of a one-second challenge, and I didn't have time to adjust the soundtrack to 1 beat per second. Next time...

Really fine gesture drawings, Roland. I know from my own frustrating experience that it's very hard to capture that much in such a short time. I'm really impressed that you got the curves of the fiddles and the hand positions so accurately in them, too. Life drawing is an endangered art form, and I'm glad to see you keeping it alive and devoted to such a great subject matter.

    Thanks!

Well, a revision has been uploaded. This one is synched to the music. And a couple other tweaks.
