Default Katy Hill on my new fiddle from Ron Stewart (no mando)

    Hey guys!

I got one of the fiddles that Ron had listed here a few weeks back. I have played it on 3 gigs so far and love it. I took a little video of me playing Katy Hill yesterday. Here it is:

Nice fiddlin' John. I see you are playing with BT. I actually tried out with them once back in...2007 I guess it was?
Learned a lot of the tunes from back then (Black Sedan, Blackwater Bottom, etc.). I played mando plenty well I think but they needed a tenor harmony singer and that isn't my strong suit. Only thing that pissed me off was that Tom never bothered to call and tell me thanks but no thanks. Oh well...roads less traveled for a reason. Good luck.

Hey Drew! Thank you for the kind words. I auditioned for Tom back in 2007 too on mandolin. I had the same problem at the time which was that I could not sing any parts at all.

I got hired in 2010 to play fiddle.

Great fiddling! Can you playing KH that fast on mandolin too? If so it would certainly be great to see!
