Aria Pro II PM1000 - Anyone else have one?

I just got my Aria Pro II PM1000 back after loaning it to my Dad and brother for several years. I purchased it around 1978 from a fellow who worked at a music store in Charlotte, possibly the place that imported all the Aria instruments. I played it until 1988 when I bought my main axe, a Gerald Anderson F style.

The PM1000 actually sounds better than I remember, especially the A and E strings. It always had a good chop, especially in A and B. It is pretty heavily built, and the G and D strings seem to suffer from that, but the neck has stayed straight.
