    Default Thanks, Dawg and Mike

for a tremendous MandoSymp this year! The vibe was really positive and strong from the outset. The classes were great, the pre- and post-midnight jams were really fun, and the evening concerts were phenomenal! Highlights for me were Adam Steffey and Mike Marshall doing "Old Dangerfield," Frank Solivan and Grisman's duet on "The Letter," Chris Acquavella's opening mando/guitar duet (the title of which, I don't remember), Don Julin and Billy String's entire set, Grisman & the faculty's run through "Opus 38," with "Shady Grove" sandwiched in the middle, and Choro Das 3's mando/guitar duet on "When I Remember." I just hope that I got enough sleep along the way to transfer everything into long-term memory.
still trying to turn dreams into memories

Also, congratulation to Dawg for 50 YEARS in the music business. The Friday music appreciation class was a celebration of his career. Here's to many, many more.!
