Thread: "Chorinho ao luar" notataion?

    Default "Chorinho ao luar" notataion?

Anyone seen this? I've not found it in any book I have. Abel Ferreira c1951. I could transcribe it but would like to shortcut that if possible. At least for the main melodic line. Nice tune for our clarinet player to try.

It is strange that that one is not in any of the books. I assume you have all the white books and have looked in them. I have been away so did not do so.

I don't know why but I just found two notated versions on the same site, one in Dminor and one in Gminor.

    Chorinho ao Luar - Dm

    Chorinho ao Luar - Gm

I haven't checked what key the recording above is but some of the music may be for transposing instruments. I looked at another tune that was scored for trombone.
