JeffD, the ones I use most are surf picks. I have others and I found a store online that makes picks from a variety of woods but they charge and awful lot. Surfpicks are made from lignum vitae: which is one of the most dense woods on the planet. It's very hard and I really like the picks I use a lot. Sure they'll cost more then V picks but, then again, they are made when you order. Surf Picks can be found at http://www.surfpicks.com. Another website that I may order from in the future is http://picksnlicks.com/wood.html. Their prices are good.
