    Hi folks,

This is just to inform you that I recently ran across www.folkalley.com (internet radio) They play all kinds of folk and related music (Irish Folk, Bluegrass, New Acoustic, Oldtime, Singer-Songwriter....) and usually feature the mandolin quite a bit. All that with no commercials.I like it a lot and learned about some new performers which now grace my record shelf. They operate on a donation basis if I´m not mistaken. Highly recommended for everybody who is interested in a broad range of acoustic music (no plastic country from Music City USA)
Who am I and if yes, how many?

    Klaus,
Thank you for the tip. Yesterday I finally bit the bullet and treated myself to an upgrade from dial-up modem to DSL. I thought I would use your suggestion to try it out for the first time. It's a great fit for my tastes and yes, lots of mandolin. Thanks again.
