    A post all the way from the UK from a novice builder working on A model no.1 ( it's been a bad day....). Yours is a great looking mandolin and I've attached a large print of it to the pegboard above my bench as an example and inspiration and hopes for better luck tomorrow !! ...........John

    Picked this Mandolin up today in Boulder. Its been played a bit since this thread was started but it still sounds amazing. I've been playing a low end Eastman since I started a few months ago but this is a huge step up for me. I'm loving the tone and the beautiful maple back. Wonderfully crafted instrument.

    Here's a little sound clip of it. I'm a self taught newb so I know I'm not doing this thing justice. I can't see myself parting with it to be honest. It was like love at first sight.
